Christina and Mario
Some photo sessions become much more than just capturing a moment — they become part of a family story. Christina & Mario have been returning to Zermatt year after year, and this time, I had the honor of documenting a completely new chapter of their lives during their maternity session in the Swiss Alps.
We spent a beautiful afternoon together surrounded by the romantic mountain scenery Zermatt is known for, with soft light, quiet moments, and even a lovely playground nearby that added such a natural and playful feeling to the session. You could feel the excitement and love for the little family they are creating together.
What I especially love about sessions like these is how effortlessly they fit into a mountain holiday. Whether after a relaxed afternoon walk or even after a skiing day in Zermatt, maternity and family photo sessions can feel easy, meaningful, and completely stress-free while still creating timeless memories in one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland.
As a Zermatt family photographer, nothing means more to me than seeing families return over the years and trusting me to document their story as it continues to grow.

Zermatt has always been a very special place for us, so documenting our maternity journey there felt incredibly meaningful. Working with Karolina was such a beautiful experience from beginning to end. What I loved most was how easy and natural everything felt. I had spent the day hiking while my husband came straight from skiing, and somehow Karolina made the entire session feel relaxed, effortless, and romantic despite us already having a full mountain day behind us. She knows the most beautiful spots in Zermatt and captured not only the scenery, but also the emotions and connection between us so perfectly.
