Nick reached out from Florida with a plan to propose in the mountains around Zermatt, and with one more wish to make come true: Nidhi had always dreamed of a photo session in Grimentz, one of the most charming villages in Valais. So that's where we started, wandering between dark wooden chalets, flower-filled balconies and cobbled lanes, relaxed, playful and full of love.

Then it was Zermatt's turn. Nidhi knew the proposal was coming, but that didn't make the moment any less emotional: at Rotenboden, with little lakes reflecting the Matterhorn, Nick got down on one knee among the wildflowers, bouquet in hand.

After the yes and a champagne toast, we took our time for portraits around the lakes while the clouds drifted across the mountain.
