Zermatt has always been a place that feels a little magical. But to ACOTAR fans, the mountain skyline, glowing evenings, car-free village and winding street full of shops and happy people, bring to mind a very specific place from the books: Velaris, the City of Starlight.

Her Seasons is a short and poetic cinematic journey through the seasons, set in the mountains of Zermatt, Switzerland. In it, we explore how the rhythms of nature mirror the cycles of a woman’s body by weaving together aerial silk dance with changing landscapes. I made this film in collaboration with the dancer featured within: Lisa.
