Sunrise and Sunset sessions are involving an overnight stay at a hut. Otherwise we are bound to the cable car schedule. However, a sunrise or a sunset proposal would be possible in Zermatt. In Summer July-September there is a possibility to do a Sunrise session Saturdays or Sundays.

Check out my blog post about it here.
In winter: If you have the Ikon Pass, you don’t need any additional ticket as this is valid for Zermatt cable cars. If you have a Ski pass, you can use this as your ticket, just pay attention that the use will count as a one ski day.
You can also buy just the ticket & return at the station counter or online. If you have the Swiss Travel Pass or the Half fair card, a discount should be applicable.
If rescheduling is not an option I have always a plan B. I will make the final decision on the location depending on the general weather situation. If you want to read more about how I handle weather situations, you can read it here in my blog post.
The weather in the mountains changes very quickly. Because of this, it is very difficult to predict what weather we can expect any given day. Approximately a week before your proposal, we can start to see the weather tendency. Just 2-3 days before your proposal, we can begin to rely on the forecast. (Not always)
The general weather in town I check with Meteoswiss
The weather on the mountain I check with Meteoblue - I like that it has the graph and showcases the elevation and densition of the clouds. For Sunnegga & Fluhalp you would need to search for “Unterrothorn” and pick the one in Aosta Valley in Italy.
Also the “Matterhorn” App has a nice overview of all the webcams which I like to use to see the visibility on the mountains.
You’ll receive a minimum of 30-50 edited images, depending on the package you booked. Surprise proposals are always prioritized in my editing workflow.
I always edit your pictures as soon as possible, but sometimes it can take me up to two or three weeks. Depending on my workload and on my holiday times.
On our phone call I guide you through the possible locations. For Summer I have a location guide, with tips, and photo examples, which I will make accessible for you before our call. So that you are already prepared before we talk.
