The Story of
Alanna and Erik
Alanna & Erik came to Zermatt straight from a multi-day hike through the Alps, and they brought their backpacks all the way up to Rotenboden for their elopement. It suited them perfectly: two people who are happiest outdoors, on a summer afternoon with the Matterhorn watching.
After a relaxed couples session, a close family member led their symbolic ceremony and read messages from loved ones who couldn't make the trip. We finished with golden-hour portraits by the Riffelsee as the sun dipped behind the Matterhorn.

When I first met Karolina we instantly had a connection and I knew she was the perfect match for our wedding photos! Planning a wedding in another country can be stressful but Karolina helped so much with suggesting a florist, bakery, and setting up where we’d do the photos! She was very responsive, even with our time difference! On the day of the wedding she made sure to book out the whole day to allow us a weather window to work with. She was so kind to my family, easy to talk to, and made taking photographs, which can feel awkward at times, feel normal and natural. She made us laugh a lot and captured us in our element. Honestly, the photographs we created together are above and beyond what we could have ever imagined for our wedding!! I can’t recommend Karolina enough!
